This month was absolutely amazing. You know.. This is turning out to be a fantastic year.

I received my graduation notice cards, and all that jazz. I get my cap and gown in about a month. I end my last semester of high school on May 30th. Oh so exciting things in the future. Now I just need to get in touch with my counselor at my college to set up a date for scheduling and such. Apparently I have to go through four hours of orientation.. Something I'm not to thrilled about, but whatever.

Nothing really is happening in band. We have two pieces that we are dying to do for a concert, King Kong and Pirates of the Caribbean. Both are excellent pieces.. But we can only play one. Which.. You know. Is total bullshit. Besides that, though, our band numbers are dwindling. When I first joined marching band as an AP, or numbers where in the high 90's. Now, my last year, we are in the low 50's. That's a big difference, and lets just say, my band director is a not to happy fellow. So now "family time" is being set in place to gain back a certain kinship our band lacks. May 23rd is our scheduled picnic. I bring deserts.

I have a very.. Very nice weekend last week. Friday I spent the afternoon with Rachel, doing girl things. Saturday I spent the first part of my afternoon spending time with someone I just absolutely adore. Sunday I went to Eric's hockey game to root him on to another victory. Go Dearborn!

My photography has been put on pause for a little. I had planned to do some spring like things and practice with macro shooting, but… It's been so damn cold out the last thing I want to do is spend my time outside. I like warmth, thank you!

I think this month has been very productive. Everything is just going so smoothly right now it's ridiculous. Next month I look forward to my dad's birthday, and isn't mother's day coming up? Yeah.. I'm broke. Mom will just have to settle for home made gifts wrapped in newspaper. She knows I love her :]
